Abstract
This study explores the historical diplomatic relations between the Kokand Khanate and the Ottoman Empire from the 16th to the 19th centuries, highlighting significant interactions and exchanges. Despite historical data confirming these relations, gaps persist regarding the full extent and impact of these interactions. Utilizing archival documents from the Ottoman Archives in Istanbul, the study employs a historical-analytical method to investigate the diplomatic missions and exchanges of gifts and political strategies between the two states. The findings reveal that these relations were initiated to strengthen political and military alliances, enhance cultural and trade exchanges, and elevate Kokand's status within the Islamic world. The results underscore the strategic importance of Kokand's diplomatic efforts in maintaining its autonomy and influencing regional politics. This research provides valuable insights into the historical dynamics of Central Asian diplomacy and its implications for contemporary international relations.
