This article focuses on the development and significance of museum pedagogy globally. It covers the essence, content, initial concepts, importance, functions, and possibilities of museum pedagogy based on various sources. It clarifies that England is the homeland of children’s museums, the United States is the birthplace of children's museums, the concept of "museum pedagogy" was introduced in Germany, the concept of the Russian children's museum was developed, and educational programs should be developed in France. This aspect of the issue serves as key material for understanding the development of museum pedagogy worldwide.
