Abstract

The article analyzes the philosophical aspects of the concepts of "Person" and "Subject." It emphasizes the importance of understanding the uniqueness, integrity, and self-awareness process of an individual and their impact on social changes in society. Furthermore, the philosophical development of the concept of the subject is analyzed historically through the views of philosophers such as Aristotle, René Descartes, and Martin Heidegger. Starting from Aristotle’s concept of “hypokeimenon,” the philosophical interpretation of the subject and person is presented, along with logical explanations related to their predicates. Descartes' views on subjectivity are explained as they set the foundation for the role of the subject in understanding the truth and the importance of self-awareness in modern philosophy. Additionally, the article highlights how Martin Heidegger analyzed René Descartes’ approach to the subject’s ontology and its significance in contemporary philosophy and its development. By combining philosophical analysis and modern approaches, the article explores how the concepts of person and subject possess a complex and multifaceted nature that is constantly evolving.
