Abstract
This article analyzes the changes in the press in the city of Namangan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the opening of the first printing house in the city, the activities of the enlightened scientist and poet, historian and geographer Ishaqkhon Ibrat from Turakurgan in Namangan.
