Abstract
This article analyzes Martin Heidegger's concepts of “decisive being” and ‘Das Man” in political, social, and historical contexts. Heidegger defines “decisive being” as the awareness of one’s existence and role in society, as well as the understanding of historical responsibility. The article discusses the concept of “Das Man” as an expression of passive and normative life and the ways to achieve authentic being. It also explores Heidegger's views on art and politics, highlighting art as a means of revealing authenticity. Heidegger asserts that authentic leadership is not simply about adhering to social norms, but about understanding and changing society and historical conditions. The article also compares Heidegger’s and Sloterdijk’s concepts of authenticity, emphasizing the deepening connection between the individual and society.
